RaginСòòò½APP™ Cajun Esports team members shine in national competition

A group of Сòòò½APP students representing its 65-member RaginСòòò½APP™ Cajuns Esports team won the Eastern College Athletic Conference Rainbow 6 Siege playoff tournament.

The RaginСòòò½APP™ Cajuns EsportsСòòò½APP™ Rainbow 6 Siege red team members are Jacob Gracianette, Noah Guidroz, Paul Justin, Ridge LeBouef, Dustin Lowe Jr., Deion Onezine, Kadyn Savoie, Nathan Touchet and Reagan Wolf. Elijah Manuel is the teamСòòò½APP™s captain.Сòòò½APP¨

In addition to the Rainbow 6 Siege team, RaginСòòò½APP™ Cajuns Esports team member Taijea "KayLay" Ledet placed second in the Сòòò½APP™s Tekken 8 playoff tournament.

The ECACСòòò½APP™s Rainbow 6 Siege and Tekken 8 online tournaments were completed in late December. Each tournament Сòòò½APP“ whose names refer to popular video games in electronic sports, or Esports, contests Сòòò½APP“ featured about 90 competitors.

The ECACСòòò½APP™s Esports program includes about 160 schools that field some 1,100 teams that compete in 14 different Esports games. Seven-week regular seasons of online tournaments are held each spring and fall semester. Playoffs that feature between 16 and 32 of the best teams or players from their respective divisions follow.
