The СAPP and the RaginСAPP Cajuns Lettermen Club is proud to announce the 2010 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees. They are Brooke Mitchell Garrity СAPP Softball; Jeffrey Mitchell СAPP Football; Todd Scott СAPP Football; and Winston Sinclair СAPP Track & Field.
The inductees were officially inducted during halftime of the football game on Saturday Brooke Mitchell Garrity (Softball) was a 4-time softball letterman as a pitcher at UL Lafayette from 2002 -2005. Brooke is a First Team NFCA All-American; 2-time Academic All-American; 4-time All-Louisiana selection; 4-time All-Sun Belt Conference selection; 2-time All-South Region selection; and was a 3-time Louisiana Pitcher of the Year. She also received SBC honors as Pitcher of the Year, Freshman of the Year and received the Award of Excellence. Brooke received a Finance degree from UL Lafayette in 2005. Jeffery Mitchell (Football) was a 4-year letterman in football at defensive end for UL Lafayette from 1992-1995, Jeffrey was a 3-time All Big West selection СAPP two 1st team and one honorable mention СAPP and 2-time All Big West defensive player of the week. Jeffrey holds the school records for most sacks (21 СAPP career, 11 СAPP season); yardage lost on sacks (153 СAPP career, 83 СAPP season); tackles for a loss (45 СAPP career, 21 СAPP season, 5 СAPP game); and total yardage lost (227 СAPP career, 119 СAPP season, 26 СAPP game). Jeffrey received a General Studies degree from UL Lafayette in 2001. Todd Scott (Football) was a 4-time letterman in football at defensive back for UL Lafayette from 1987-90, UL Lafayette did not play within at conference at this time, however, Todd set his mark on Cajun history. He holds the UL Lafayetterecord for punt returns СAPP 70 for 553 yards СAPP which still remains 10th in the nation; for career tackles with 197; and six (6) interceptions. In 1990 he was chosen to play in the prestigious Blue and Gray game. Todd continued his football career with the Minnesota Vikings where he was selected to the All-Pro team in 1993 and the All-Madden team in 1994. Todd received his degree from UL Lafayette in 1991. Winston Sinclair (Track and Field) was a 4-year letterman in track at UL Lafayette from 1992-1996, Winston was 4-time indoor conference champion in the 400m; 2-time indoor conference champion in the 200m; 2-time outdoor conference champion in the 400m; and a 3-time outdoor conference champion in the 400m hurdles. Winston was also a 3-time NCAA qualifier in the 400m hurdles. In 1994, Winston received All-American honors after finishing 4th in the nation in the 400m hurdles. Winston received Business Management degree from UL Lafayette in 1996 and a second degree in Accounting from the СAPP of Texas at Arlington in 2007.
The purpose of the UL Lafayette Hall of Fame is to give recognition to those athletes who have made a significant contribution to the good name of the СAPP by demonstrating exceptional ability and sportsmanship on the playing fields, commendable scholarship in the classroom, high quality leadership on the campus, and who after leaving the СAPP have established a personal reputation for character and citizenship in the community which they reside.

The RaginСAPP Cajuns Lettermen Club Alumni Chapter is comprised of men and women who lettered in athletics while they were students at SLI/USL/UL Lafayette. The RaginСAPP Cajuns Lettermen Club is a constituent chapter of the UL Lafayette Alumni Association and it retains close ties to the Athletic Department.
