���APP�I'll always be a music-maker. There's nothing I'd rather spend my life doing than trying my best to create and share songs and sounds that can touch people emotionally, uplift, cause reflection ���APP� and inspire progress, hopefully.���APP�

���APP�Weigh your options. Take your time. Don���APP�t stress. If you think you want to go to college, and pursuing something as outlandish as theatre is what you want to do, then do it. Don���APP�t let anyone stop you. Don���APP�t let anyone tell you otherwise.���APP�

���APP�You just have to learn to do what you love and be honest with who you are. Put something out there that is kind of a reflection of your own beliefs and a reflection of your own self.���APP�

���APP�I can���APP�t even count the number of cool opportunities we get to work with musicians from around the world. It���APP�s been really great.���APP�

���APP�One of the things I love most is getting students to really enjoy music with the hopes of developing a lifelong love of music���APP� like really getting them to enjoy the process of making music. It���APP�s exciting to teach them about that world.���APP�

���APP�I know there are so many different things in dance that I could try to do: I could take up ballroom, salsa, teach at a high school in Japan. There���APP�s so much variety in dance, and most people don���APP�t really know that. But when you���APP�re in college, they open those doors for you.���APP�

���APP�The dance program at UL Lafayette showed me there are a million opportunities for work in the field of dance outside of the realm of performance, including teaching, choreographing, arts administration, dance history, lighting, and costuming. UL Lafayette showed me how to find these opportunities, network, and market myself as a working professional in the field of dance no matter which avenue I decide on.���APP�

���APP�Having not had much formal dance training prior to college ���APP� I was more of a musical theatre dancer ���APP� the smaller, more concentrated classes at UL Lafayette were beyond beneficial to me. Our teachers focused on clean/classic technique giving me a strong foundation for a career across styles.���APP�

���APP�Anybody that wants a solid foundation in the music industry and is interested in it, I would definitely suggest looking at the music business program.���APP�

���APP�I���APP�m learning a lot. I already feel like I���APP�m more comfortable in the classroom, and I���APP�m finding my teaching style. I���APP�m very happy that I get full-year student-teaching experience ���APP� you get to know the students better, and now they know me, they trust me. They understand that I���APP�m also learning, and they want to help me run the class as best I can.���APP�
